We are pleased to announce that our Gunness manufacturing site in Scunthorpe, acquired last year, has been awarded IO 9001:2015 certification bringing it in line with our other sites in the UK and Antwerp.
Whilst Gunness was already operating to ISO 9001: 2015 standards under the watchful eye of Site Manager Mark Frobisher, we required SGS confirmation of this and were delighted to receive the SGS stamp of approval on 16th March 2018.
Gunness, a purpose-built antifreeze blending plant, covers an area of 15,000 m² and is ideally located on the banks of the River Trent with a 2,500 t boat capacity (maximum draft of 4.4 m). It is a major producer of glycols, antifreeze and brake fluid as well as managing a screen wash blending operation close by.
Solventis is now working towards ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental) for all its sites and we aim to be certified by the end of this year.
