Butyl poly glycol should be stored and transported in carbon steel/stainless steel drums and/or phenolic lined steel drums. It has a specific gravity of 1.011 and a flash point of 174 °C (closed cup). It is not regulated for any form of transport but is classed as an Irritant and carries the risk of serious damage to eyes.
